Can we have a cot in the room?

Yes, you can. .

You may book this through our guest communication hub. You get access to this after you have 'checked in' online  

Please note, for hygiene and safety purposes we do not provide linens or pillows for our Cot Beds. Our guests have found that by bringing their own linens and soft items that their child is accustomed to, has helped the little ones sleep better.

(On same day bookings we can not guarantee that we can supply cots, high chairs or configure twin bed requests in the two bedroom apartments)


Can we have twin beds in the second bedroom?

Yes, you can. you can do this through our guest communication hub. You get access to this after you have 'checked in' online

Can we have 4 single beds in a two-bedroom apartment?

Sorry we cannot provide 4 single beds in a two bedroom apartment. We can only provide a double bed in the main room and either a double or twin beds in the second room.

Can we have 2 single beds in a Classic or Deluxe One Bed apartment?

Sorry we can not provide 2 single beds in a Classic or Deluxe One Bed apartment.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes, we do. We will send you the username and password prior to your arrival and it can also be accessed in the Welcome Book in the apartment.

Can I get Netflix, Amazon & YouTube on the TV?

Yes, you can, all our apartments have smart TV’s. You would need to access your own personal account to view these services. We also recommend you sign out of any subscription service before you vacate us.

Can I smoke or vape in my apartment?

Guests are not permitted to smoke or vape in any part of The Salisbury premises.
Please refer to the ‘Rental Agreement’ on our website regarding for further details. 

Can I request a Sea View?

The Salisbury is situated in the heart of Scarborough and at the centre of town and so we do not have any unobstructed sea views.

Can I request a Castle View?

Yes, you can, however it is only a partial view. Please inform us when you are booking although we cannot guarantee this, we will endeavour to meet your needs.

Can you guarantee that my room will be quiet?

We are situated in the town centre. Unfortunately, you may experience some noise. 

Can I arrange a delivery from Amazon or another provider for a special occasion?

We really want our guests to have a fantastic time when they visit us and understand that arranging a surprise treat for someone special can really make your stay a memorable one. We always try to accommodate any request however as we do not have a front desk arranging deliveries does prove tricky as we can not guarantee we can meet a parcel delivery company.

Do I need to bring any bedding?

All bedding is provided. Please bring cot bedding if you have requested one. 

Do I need to bring any towels?

Bath & hand towels are provided. Please provide your own beach towels.

Do I need to bring any cooking utensils?

We provide a wide range of kitchen essentials

Do you supply cups, plates and bowls?

We provide a well-equipped dinner set

Do you supply cutlery?

We provide a well-equipped cutlery set

What drinking glasses are supplied in the room?

We provide a well-equipped glassware set, including various sized tumblers, wine glasses & champagne flutes

Is there any complimentary tea and coffee?

Yes, within our welcome pack we provide you with some tea bags, coffee, sugar & milk.

What pods does the coffee machine take?

Our apartments have Nespresso machines that use Nespresso pods. As part of your welcome pack, we do provide you with some complimentary pods for your arrival.

Are there any toiletries in the bathroom?

Yes, we provide you with our welcome pack including a complimentary shampoo, body wash and liquid soap.

Do you supply any kitchen or cleaning equipment?

As part of your welcome pack, we provide a tea towel, sponge/pan scourer, fairy liquid, kitchen roll, 2 x dishwasher tablets, 2 x washing machine pods and 2 spare bin bags. Each apartment is provided a dustpan and brush.

Do I need to bring toilet paper?

No, we provide you with our welcome pack including toilet rolls

Do you supply tablets for the dishwasher?

Yes, we provide you with our welcome pack including 2 dishwasher tablets

Is there an iron?

We do provide an iron

Is there an ironing board?

We do provide an ironing board

Do you provide a hair dryer?

Yes, our apartments have Tresemmé hairdryers

Do you supply detergent for the washing machine?

Yes, we provide you with our welcome pack including 2 detergent sachets

Do you change towels and bedding during my stay?

These are self-catering apartments. We do not provide a linen service.
If you are taking an extended stay with us of over 7 days, we will arrange a mutually convenient time with you so our Housekeeping Team can refresh the apartment

Do the apartments have baths?

Our apartments all have large walk-in showers, they do not have baths.

Is there plenty of hot water?

All our apartments have their own independent hot water supply. They have a large 200 litre tank giving most groups more than enough hot water. However, we know some people like to luxuriate in the shower for longer so you can always boost the hot water supply. Instructions are in the welcome book.

What do we do about rubbish?

Bins are provided in the apartments. If you need a collection, please contact us. Our housekeeping team are usually on site between 09.30 & 15.00.

Do the rooms have air conditioning?

Rooms do not have air conditioning. During the summer months we will provide additional air circulation fans. We recommend that blinds are closed during the day to reduce heat in your apartment in the summer. 

Do the rooms have heating?

All rooms have wall mounted electric radiators so you can adjust the heating to your own personal preference 

How do we get in?

Before we send out any access codes you must 'check in' online. We will email you with a link after you have made a booking with us. 

On the morning of your arrival we will send you an email with codes to access the building and your apartment. 

The first code is to enter the front door front door. Once you enter the building there is a lift directly opposite the front door and stairs are to the right of the lift. The first number of your apartment number indicates what floor you are on.

The second code will give you access to the key safe by your apartment door. Enter this number and twist the dial at the top of the key safe to open it. Inside the key box are 2 keys giving you access to your apartment.

What do we do when we checkout?

When do you send details about how we get in?
